– Improvements at Snow Creek Park for ADA accessibility
– Supported the creation of the Walnut Business Watch program, strengthening communication between businesses and law enforcement
– Authorized an additional $250,000 to be spent on overtime public safety for burglary suppression and traffic enforcement
– Total of $5,521,710 being dedicated to public safety in FY25-26, resulting in a reduction in residential and commercial burglary rates
– During Law’s first year on council, an overall -24.79% YTD reduction in crime as of May 2026
– Represented Walnut in the Los Angeles County City Selection Committee Meeting
– Walnut City Council Audit Investment Policy/Contract Committee
– Supported staff in the creation of the Walnut business spotlight, encouraging a strong relationship between the city and new businesses
– Inaugural “Walnut Through My Eyes” Walnut Student Art Contest
– Inaugural SERVICE Night celebration thanking our LA County Sheriff’s Department, Walnut Explorers, reserve deputies, and station volunteers for their hard work and dedication to our community
– Keynote speaker at WVUSD career days, encouraging students to get involved in their local communities and government
– Attended risk management training through the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority to support public safety, risk management, and legal liability
– Supports the City and Walnut Sheriffs station, and speaking to residents, at our Coffee with a cop series
– Supporting new small businesses through social media, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and connecting them with our community members


Regional:
– Women’s Caucus Appointee (24-24, 25-26) to the California League of Cities Public Safety Committee and E-bike legislation subcommittee, advocating for Walnut’s quality of life and public safety at the state level
– Executive Board Member of the California Contract Cities Association, strengthening our advocacy to the County and State
– Presidential Appointee to the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Transportation Committee, representing Walnut in regional transportation planning
– San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments nominee to the SGV Metro Service Council, representing Walnut on regional transit issues
